The Thief

I always stayed behind at the laundromat to watch my lady undergarments spin in the dryer. I knew I had to be careful of unsuspected prowling eyes.

That day however, I left, unbeknownst that a panty predator would  come and steal them.

I was leaving Japan the next day and had gone to the laundromat to dry my intimate lady garments (personal unmentionables). I stepped out and when I returned and opened one of the dryers I had used, it was empty. They had stolen my underwear, again. See, my clothes have been stolen on three different occasions; twice from my balcony and in this instance, from the laundromat. As I reminisce on the first time it happened, I recall coming home to my underwear outside on the ground. I don’t remember it being windy on that specific day. It was as if the thief grabbed and dashed- literally.

That must have been an incredible run.

Another time, the thief not only had a penchant for panties, as he also snatched bras along with a scarf and blouse to add to the collection. My mother had been visiting me at that time so her items were also among those stolen.

On this occasion, I used two dryers. The thief had emptied the dyer which had my underwear, towels and a dress. Not even a piece was left behind. Thank God he did not see the dryer which had my bras and other clothing items.

When I went to the police to make the intricately detailed report, it was all too familiar. Details included the pattern (so if they had tiger prints , that would be included in the report), the color, along with the current and original price. The police would have had a detailed description of my underwear by the time I was finished. After making the report, we went to the scene. Since I was leaving the country the next day, we agreed that they’d contact me after I returned.

I left Japan with mainly bikini bottoms courtesy of the thief.

I returned to Japan and the police contacted me to review the video footage. It just so happened that the camera did not zoom in on the dryer which had my underwear. The video footage showed people entering and leaving the laundromat, but what caught my attention was a guy who was dressed in long sleeves, a mask and a tam, even though it was summer. I’m not accusing him as I still don’t know who stole my underwear or any of the previous items. I do hope the thief didn’t make a quilt from the lot.

I told the cops I would plant some panties in a dryer, camouflage myself and hide in a tree. “Don’t, Dont!!” was their squeal of panic as they dissuaded me from continuing with the idea.

I could picture myself: I’d be hugging the tree trunk in the middle of night, then I would wait until the thief exits, then jump on top of his shoulders.

Of course, I wouldn’t do such a thing, though it didn’t sound like a bad idea.
